Further important steps have been implemented in recent months. The roof has been connected to the new fire walls and comprehensively upgraded for fire protection. New smoke and heat vents have been installed, roof domes have been replaced, and all openings have been additionally secured.

In the next step, Plant 5 was connected to the existing ring lines. This means that compressed air and the network will be available in the future. At the same time, a new ramp was built between Plant 2 and Plant 5 to make internal goods transport more efficient and future-proof.

Structure & function take shape ⚙️
In the third quarter, work continued on the interior. New interior walls and modifications to the façade create clear structures and enable optimized access to the halls — tailored precisely to their future use.

In addition, modern doors and roller shutters were installed. They improve functionality in daily operations and contribute to the energy optimization of Plant 5.

Installation of fire protection walls 🏗️
The halls are being converted and new structures and layouts are being created.
One highlight: the installation of huge fire protection walls using a 250-ton crane.
